TL;DR
Software Engineer (AI/.NET, Python, or Go): Building and maintaining tested features across an enterprise commerce orchestration platform with an accent on backend development, domain-driven implementation, and AI-assisted coding. Focus on evaluating AI-generated code, integrating REST APIs and relational databases, resolving production issues, and supporting deployment and incident response.
Location: New York, NY; remote and in-office flexibility is available.

What you will do
- Design, build, test, deploy, and monitor features for domains such as order management, catalog, invoicing, and integrations.
- Write clean, well-tested code using established architectural patterns and contribute to peer code reviews.
- Use AI coding assistants for scaffolding, test generation, documentation, and navigating legacy code.
- Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and compatibility with existing domain models.
- Diagnose bugs and production issues, create technical documentation and runbooks, and participate in on-call and incident response.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, technical leads, and other engineers to turn requirements into working software.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–4 years of professional software development experience; internship or academic project experience may be considered at the lower end.
- Working proficiency in at least one of C#/.NET, Python, or Go.
- Understanding of REST APIs, relational databases such as Postgres or MSSQL, Git, and code review workflows.
- Comfort using AI coding assistants with the judgment to verify their output rather than accept it blindly.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and escalation skills.
Nice to have
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with EDI, dropship, or marketplace integrations.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
