Technical Product Owner (AI)

Location: United States; remote candidates welcome, with occasional travel to Las Vegas as needed. The role may also be based in offices in Denver, Colorado; Huntersville, North Carolina; Rosemont, Illinois; or Las Vegas, Nevada. Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

What you will do

• Lead discovery with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to define scope, root causes, solution options, and requirements boundaries.
• Review application code, query databases, and interact with APIs to establish implementation baselines.
• Translate business requirements into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, data-flow diagrams, process flows, and integration specifications.
• Direct AI-assisted tools to generate requirements artifacts and validate their accuracy, completeness, business-rule fidelity, and edge-case coverage.
• Maintain the pod’s domain knowledge base and product backlog, partnering with Product Management, senior engineers, and architecture teams.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and validate delivered stories through acceptance-criteria checks, functional testing, pull-request review, and definition-of-done enforcement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent software development experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical product ownership, solutions analysis, or software engineering in an Agile environment.
• Working knowledge of application code, architectural approaches, and technical feasibility assessment.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, relational database design, data modeling, web application architecture, and T-SQL or equivalent.
• Experience authoring user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements; proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and diagramming tools.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with C#, .NET, Entity Framework, React, Angular, Microsoft SQL Server, Git, Bitbucket, Postman, or Swagger.
