Pharmaceutical Senior Legal Research Associate

Location: Remote (United States); working hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. ET.

Salary: $75,000–$80,000 per year.

What you will do

• Research, review, and interpret statutes, legislation, rules, emergency orders, and other regulatory resources.
• Conduct state-by-state assessments of licensing requirements based on business models and product portfolios.
• Communicate with boards of pharmacy and regulatory agencies overseeing the pharmaceutical supply chain.
• Provide regulatory and compliance insights to cross-functional teams and contribute ideas for software improvements.
• Organize and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
• Use technology and software tools to manage research and administrative work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience researching federal and state law and regulatory resources within the drug supply chain or pharmacy regulatory affairs.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, including FDA regulations and state board of pharmacy requirements.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, logical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and communicate them clearly.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing compliance guidance.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, self-management, and written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Professional pharmaceutical compliance certification, such as RAC.
