Senior Specialist, Regulatory Affairs

Location: El Segundo, California, United States — hybrid, with at least 60% of work performed from the office. Relocation assistance is offered.

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Review cosmetic and OTC ingredients and formulas for compliance across the USA, EU, China, Canada, Australia, Taiwan, ASEAN, and other markets.
• Maintain technical dossiers, regulatory databases, and documentation supplied by manufacturers and product development partners.
• Prepare and manage product registrations, submissions for new products and reformulations, and international market expansions.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Creative on country-specific assortments and compliant artwork revisions.
• Manage product testing logistics, laboratory submissions, sample shipments, report tracking, and internal records.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Regulatory Affairs experience in cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, including reading, writing, and speaking, is required.
• Strong organizational, project management, analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with regulatory software and databases.
