Mechanical Assembly Technician

What you will do

• Build, fabricate, and assemble custom machinery and automation equipment.
• Interpret mechanical fabrication drawings and provide feedback to the mechanical design team.
• Perform precision fabrication using hand and power tools.
• Assemble pneumatic and hydraulic systems and operate CNC lathes and mills.
• Wire electrical panels from schematics while following safety and quality standards.
• Support equipment testing, troubleshooting, machine building, and integration with the automation team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Intermediate ability to read part and assembly drawings.
• Experience operating CNC machines and familiarity with automation equipment and testing procedures.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work on and beneath machines while maintaining a steady pace.
• Mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality, plus the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with CNC lathes and mills.
