Site Director, Operations (Biotechnology Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Boulder, Colorado, United States; ability to travel up to 25%.

Annual salary: $140,000–$180,000, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead the overall performance, safety, compliance, and operational excellence of the biotechnology manufacturing site.
• Recruit, develop, and retain talent while setting performance objectives and supporting professional development.
• Lead the improvement and harmonization of manufacturing processes using continuous improvement and hirify.global Business System principles.
• Ensure shipment goals, production plans, customer requirements, and manufacturing capacity align with business and sales plans.
• Drive on-time delivery above 95% and improve customer service performance.
• Reduce costs through labor productivity, manufacturing efficiency, cycle-time reduction, expense mitigation, and material efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life science or an engineering-related field.
• At least 3–7 years of operations management experience, including 3+ years performing production work in an operations or supply chain environment.
• At least 3 years of previous people leadership experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in continuous improvement, including 5S, Kanban, and other lean principles.
• Experience using operational metrics, process analysis, and business case development to deliver measurable improvements.
• Experience in stakeholder management and aligning diverse teams around large-scale operational improvements and business transformations.
