Senior Cabin Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Mobile Area, Alabama, United States; minimum 80% onsite and 20% remote

hirify.global develops and supports commercial aircraft, including cabin engineering, aftermarket upgrades, reconfigurations, and customer services.

What you will do

• Lead the development, customization, integration, certification, and installation of aircraft cabin and cargo interiors.
• Create, update, and approve complex 2D/3D CAD models and engineering changes using Catia V5.
• Guide stress engineers, drafters, designers, vendors, airline customers, and other stakeholders through major engineering projects.
• Prepare, review, and authorize certification plans, test data, technical documentation, and engineering releases.
• Present complex technical and business information to leadership, regulators, external partners, and airline clients.
• Automate engineering workflows, data analysis, reporting, and technical data extraction using Python, Google Apps Script, AI tools, and Selenium.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace, civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• At least 9 years of experience in aircraft cabin interior design, stress or integration analysis, and certification.
• Essential experience with Catia V5 and strong proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software.
• Ability to prepare technical reports, specifications, work statements, requirements, and other documentation.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• hirify.global cabin and cargo engineering experience.
• French, German, or Spanish skills.
• Experience with Approve and Authorizer technical signatory status.
• Working knowledge of Python, VBA, CAD macros, PDM systems, TAKSY, or PASS-SSI.
• Master of Science degree in mechanical, electrical, civil, aerospace, or related engineering.
