Associate Director, Test Security Investigations

Location: Remote in the United States; employees near hirify.global offices may choose fully remote or hybrid work with in-office attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Occasional business travel is required, including domestic and international travel.

Salary: $56,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Investigate fraud, testing misconduct, and score validity issues across digital-based assessments.
• Review hotline tips, internal referrals, telemetry, data analytics, interviews, and social media evidence to recommend case dispositions.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Platform Threat Intelligence, Data Science, Psychometrics, Operations, and external vendors.
• Perform pre-exam and post-exam data analysis to identify high-risk test takers, markets, states, and emerging security threats.
• Respond to test security inquiries and communicate investigative findings clearly and empathetically to students, parents, educators, and other customers.
• Monitor social media and conduct test-center observations worldwide to detect exposed exam content and assess security compliance.

Requirements

• Experience conducting investigations into fraud and misconduct issues, preferably in education or assessment environments.
• Advanced search, social media, digital research, data analysis, and evidence-gathering skills.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, presentation, relationship-building, and influencing abilities.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Salesforce or Power BI is preferred.
• Excellent PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required. Ability to travel domestically 5–7 times and internationally 3–4 times per year is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in educational testing or assessment security.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and AI-driven solutions.
