Lead Compliance Testing/Data Mining Analyst

Location: New York, NY — hybrid

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Collect, validate, and analyze data for compliance monitoring and testing.
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Group to create reports identifying account patterns, transaction volumes, activity trends, and areas requiring further review.
• Conduct compliance testing and control assessments across business lines, products, services, and processes.
• Design and execute data-driven tests, document procedures and non-compliance findings, and prepare final reports for stakeholders.
• Assess remediation plans and follow up to confirm effective implementation of corrective actions.
• Lead the work product of collaborating Compliance Testing/Data Mining Analysts without serving as their supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or data analytics preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in compliance testing or financial services.
• Knowledge of relevant federal and state consumer protection laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and interpretations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data extraction, analytics, and reporting tools such as Power BI and Business Objects.
