Senior Test Leader (AI-Assisted Testing)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop the QA/Tester team across company projects, including career paths from Junior to Senior and Automation Engineer.
• Define testing strategies and quality standards for bespoke, web, mobile, and government-sector projects across Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models.
• Establish quality gates, entry and exit criteria, and portfolio-wide metrics covering SIT, UAT, go-live, post-go-live, defect density, defect leakage, and test coverage.
• Oversee test cases, test plans, test data, manual testing, UAT management, and root-cause analysis for critical defects.
• Build reusable UI, API, and regression automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD, and select tools for different project types.
• Apply AI-assisted testing, including test case generation, regression optimization, defect-prone-area prediction, and workflows integrated with existing automation.

Requirements

• Minimum 7–8 years in the software industry, including hands-on software development experience before transitioning into QA.
• At least 3 years in a QA team lead or management role, with experience leading teams in an IT outsourcing environment.
• Proven delivery of large-scale global projects with global-standard quality expectations.
• Strong manual testing, test planning, test case design, UAT, and quality governance experience.
• Hands-on experience building or operating automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent, with CI/CD integration.
• Practical AI software testing experience and hands-on testing within ASDLC project models; strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.

Nice to have

• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification, including Test Manager, Test Analyst, or Automation Engineer tracks.
• Automation testing or AI/ML-applied-to-QA certification.
• Experience testing AI-native applications such as LLM-based apps, AI agents, and chatbots, including hallucination detection and non-deterministic output testing.
