TL;DR
Junior QA Engineer (QA Automation) (Manual Testing/Automation): Testing web and mobile applications through functional, regression, smoke, UAT, and basic API testing with an accent on defect lifecycle management and automated test execution. Focus on maintaining Katalon Studio or TestComplete scripts, creating reusable test functions, and collaborating with developers, BAs, and Product Owners in an Agile/Scrum environment.

What you will do
- Analyze business requirements and create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, integration, and UAT testing for web and mobile applications.
- Manage the full defect lifecycle in Jira, including clear reproduction steps and prioritization.
- Maintain and execute automated test scripts in Katalon Studio and/or TestComplete.
- Update object repositories and name mappings, and create small reusable keywords, functions, or scripts.
- Perform basic REST API testing with Postman or Katalon and contribute to QA process improvement, documentation, and test data management.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of QA testing experience, with strong manual testing experience in functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.
- Hands-on test automation experience is required, using Katalon Studio with basic Groovy/Java custom keywords and/or TestComplete with JavaScript, VBScript, or Python.
- Experience with API testing using Postman or REST; basic SQL knowledge is advantageous.
- Intermediate English and good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to balance manual testing with automation tasks and work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Nice to have
- Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps experience.
- Experience with Xray, Zephyr, or other test management and reporting tools.
