Senior QA Engineer (ServiceNow Tester)

What you will do

• Analyze requirements, user stories, and functional specifications for ServiceNow implementation and enhancement projects.
• Create and execute test cases, scenarios, scripts, and test plans.
• Perform functional, system integration, regression, manual, and automated testing, while supporting user acceptance testing.
• Validate ServiceNow workflows, forms, catalogs, and system configurations.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using appropriate tracking tools.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, clients, business users, and technical stakeholders; prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, including web application testing.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, test case creation, and maintenance of automated test scripts.
• Experience with at least one test automation tool or framework, software testing life cycle, defect management, and bug tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Basic understanding of Agile methodology and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work with clients, business users, and technical teams.

Nice to have

• Exposure to the ServiceNow platform or ServiceNow projects.
• Knowledge of ITSM and ITIL concepts.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Experience with ServiceNow ATF or other test automation tools.
• ServiceNow CSA certification or willingness to pursue certification.
