Payer Coding Ops Hourly (HCC Coding)

What you will do

• Review and analyze patient medical records to identify and code diagnoses according to client-specific project guidelines.
• Apply ICD-10-CM, DRG, reimbursement, regulatory, and accreditation coding requirements.
• Translate clinical documentation into precise codes for risk adjustment and reimbursement.
• Maintain a minimum coding accuracy rate of 95%.
• Work across multiple client projects and complete additional operational tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of HCC coding experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10 and strong knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, pharmacology, and disease processes.
• AHIMA certification such as RHIA, RHIT, or CCS, or AAPC certification such as CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC, or CRC.
• CPC-A candidates are accepted only if they also hold CRC certification.
• Ability to commit to 40 hours per week, meet deadlines, follow instructions, and work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and computer skills, with the ability to work remotely.
