Compounding Technician

Location: Auckland (Mt. Wellington), New Zealand; onsite. Full-time shifts of 8 hours scheduled between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday, with flexibility for alternative hours and roster changes.

What you will do

• Pick and prepare raw materials for sterile pharmaceutical production.
• Aseptically compound sterile solutions and syringes.
• Manufacture chemotherapy, antibiotic, and nutritional products for hospitals and patients.
• Pack, inspect, label, and dispatch finished units.
• Complete documentation in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and develop competence through training and coaching.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and a productive, reliable approach to work.
• Comfort working in a cleanroom environment.
• Ability to lift up to 10 kg regularly throughout the day.
• Good understanding of basic mathematics.
• Unrestricted work rights and eligibility to work full time for any employer in Australia or New Zealand.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical, stringent vision screening, background and reference checks, and a mask fit test.

Nice to have

• Previous pharmaceutical experience is not required; candidates starting a career in pharmaceuticals are encouraged to apply.
