Location: Macraes mine, East Otago, New Zealand; onsite Monday to Friday on a 9-day fortnight roster

What you will do
- Manage occupational health services, policies, procedures, health monitoring, and prevention programmes.
- Conduct annual health checks, pre-employment and exit medicals, and maintain related health records.
- Perform ergonomic assessments and contribute to workplace injury prevention and health surveillance controls.
- Conduct occupational hygiene monitoring, including air sampling, noise dosimetry, ambient noise measurement, and respiratory and hearing protector fit testing.
- Support injury and illness assessment, treatment, workplace rehabilitation, and return-to-work planning.
- Develop employee health, wellbeing, and health promotion programmes.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate.
- Current driver licence; ability to drive a manual vehicle is preferred.
- Relevant qualification or experience in occupational health.
- Experience in nursing, occupational hygiene, occupational health and safety, or field sampling.
- Working knowledge of health and safety legislation, Codes of Practice, and the Privacy Act.
- Competent Microsoft Word and Excel skills, with strong communication, organisation, and time-management abilities.
Nice to have
- Formal skills in occupational hygiene, occupational health and safety, engineering, or a relevant science.
