Base pay: $152,100–$190,100 per year.

What you will do
- Develop, document, and maintain standardized manufacturing engineering methods and best practices across the MDE organization.
- Define frameworks for manufacturing planning, process definition, work instructions, and build readiness across development, certification, and production.
- Establish facility planning standards covering space allocation, line layouts, material flow, aisleways, egress, and infrastructure.
- Standardize tooling, ground support equipment, test equipment, and functional test equipment requirements.
- Collaborate with Design, Quality, Supply Chain, Certification, Industrialization, Facilities, and Operations teams.
- Govern standards adoption, use build feedback and data to drive continuous improvement, and mentor MDE engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering or a similarly complex, regulated environment.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing planning, process definition, work instructions, tooling, and production support.
- Experience defining and implementing standardized engineering methods across multiple teams or programs.
- Strong systems thinking, documentation, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- Familiarity with FAA certification considerations and their impact on manufacturing processes.
Nice to have
- Experience with NX, Teamcenter, or SAP.
- Experience building manufacturing standards in a scaling organization.
- eVTOL or Advanced Air Mobility experience.
