Telemedicine Registered Nurse (RN) (Fertility and Family Care)

Location: Fully remote within all U.S. states; scheduled Monday-Friday shifts within the 8:00a-6:00p CST coverage window. A private, HIPAA-compliant home workspace and reliable internet are required.

Salary: $40-$50/hour.

What you will do

• Review inbound member messages, triage urgency, escalate to physicians when required, and route non-clinical requests.
• Provide education on menopause, hormone therapy, preconception health, metabolic health, and medication administration.
• Review and triage lab results, escalate critical findings, retrieve outside records, and coordinate specialist referrals.
• Manage pharmacy callbacks and prior authorizations with the care team.
• Document clinically relevant interactions the same day and create tracked internal tasks with clear owners.
• Contribute to chart audits, clinical protocol feedback, and quality improvement as the telemedicine program scales.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license with NLC multi-state privileges and good standing.
• ADN or BSN from an accredited program; BSN preferred.
• At least 3 years of active RN clinical experience, including meaningful experience in women's health, reproductive health, OB/GYN, fertility, endocrinology, or menopause care.
• Demonstrated nurse triage experience, including urgency assessment, protocol application, appropriate escalation, and recognition of critical lab values.
• Strong written communication, phone assessment skills, and proficiency with EHR, telehealth, secure messaging, and e-fax systems.
• Must be able to work scheduled shifts covering 8:00a-6:00p CST and comply with HIPAA and applicable telemedicine requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in a menopause clinic, fertility center, REI practice, or comparable specialty program.
• Knowledge of fertility workups, AMH and hormone panels, ovulation tracking, and cycle-monitoring labs.
• Experience with hormone therapy prior authorizations, GLP-1 medications, digital health, or multi-state telemedicine.
• Experience in clinical protocol development, quality improvement, or member-facing clinical content.
• Additional language fluency or relevant certification such as MSCP or RNC-OB.
