Workday Financial Analyst (Workday Finance)

Location: Ontario, Canada; remote

Salary: 84,400–101,500 CAD annually for Canada. US compensation is 93,600–111,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert across Workday Financials modules, including Financial Accounting, Prism, Accounting Center, Procurement, Expenses, Cash Management, and Business Assets.
• Resolve production issues and participate in process design, module implementations, system upgrades, and Workday release testing.
• Translate Finance and Accounting requirements into Workday reports, dashboards, integrations, and accounting rules.
• Develop and maintain Prism datasets, data sources, calculated fields, dashboards, and reporting analytics.
• Maintain Workday Financials security roles and support data governance and compliance.
• Provide documentation, training, stakeholder support, and assistance with month-end and year-end close activities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with Workday Finance in implementation, consulting, or technical support.
• 2+ years of experience implementing or supporting Workday Prism and/or Accounting Center.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration, written documentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to gather business requirements, troubleshoot Workday integrations, and support multiple deliverables.

Nice to have

• Workday FIN Core and Workday Prism certifications.
• Full project lifecycle and Workday implementation experience.
• Expertise in financial accounting, business assets, bank and settlement, expenses, and multibook accounting.
• Experience with JIRA and integrating billing and revenue from third-party systems.
