Lead Workday Systems Analyst (Financials)

Location: Ontario, Canada; remote role

Annual compensation: Canada — CAD 104,400–121,500; United States — USD 93,600–130,000

What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday Financials modules, including Financial Accounting, Prism, Accounting Center, Procurement, Supplier Accounts and Contracts, Customer Accounts, Expenses, Cash Management, and Business Assets.
• Resolve production issues and support process design, new module implementations, system upgrades, and Workday releases.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to gather requirements and deliver reports, dashboards, integrations, and accounting rules.
• Develop and maintain Prism datasets, data sources, calculated fields, dashboards, and Workday reporting to provide financial insights.
• Maintain Workday Financials security roles and support data governance, compliance, testing, and validation.
• Provide month-end and year-end close support, end-user training, documentation, and resolution of complex reporting and analytics requests.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with Workday Finance in implementation, consulting, or technical support.
• 2+ years of experience implementing or supporting Workday Prism and/or Accounting Center.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, teamwork, and written technical documentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Workday FIN Core and Workday Prism certification.
• Full project lifecycle and Workday implementation experience.
• Subject matter expertise in Financial Accounting, Business Assets, Bank & Settlement, and Expenses.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, finance business processes, reporting, and Workday configuration.
• Ability to learn new Workday capabilities, prioritize workloads, manage multiple engagements, and provide timely resolution.
• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and debugging Workday integrations.
• JIRA experience and experience integrating billing and revenue from third-party systems are a plus.
