Software Engineer in Test (SDET) Specialist I - Brazil (AI Testing)

Location: Remote in Brazil

What you will do

• Lead AI adoption and operationalization across testing squads, designing AI-enhanced workflows and measuring quality, coverage, defect detection, and efficiency gains.
• Define safe and reliable AI validation standards for test pipelines, regression systems, and production quality baselines.
• Design and govern agentic testing workflows using Model Context Protocol technologies such as Maestro MCP and Playwright MCP.
• Create advanced test strategies, plans, and machine-readable test cases for AI-assisted test generation and complex product changes.
• Improve QA methodologies, automated testing frameworks, and technical standards across Engineering.
• Mentor QA and engineering professionals, communicate quality risks, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, MLOps, and platform teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in quality assurance engineering across manual and automated testing.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks including Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or CircleCI and bug tracking or test management tools such as JIRA or TestRail.
• Hands-on experience operationalizing AI-assisted and agentic testing workflows, including MCP-based test generation and execution.
• Ability to define validation standards, human-in-the-loop boundaries, and measurable AI ROI outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience; an updated resume translated to English is required for consideration.
