QA with Security Fix Validation Expertise, Brazil

What you will do

• Validate security remediation fixes by confirming vulnerabilities no longer reproduce and intended behavior remains intact.
• Design and execute focused regression testing around dependency upgrades and configuration changes.
• Build and maintain automated regression coverage for frequently modified areas.
• Define testable validation and closure criteria with developers.
• Test PHP web applications across the client's AWS environments and verify deployment consistency.
• Integrate automated tests into the client's CI/CD pipeline and provide evidence for risk-closure records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in QA or quality engineering for web applications.
• Good English communication skills are required for direct collaboration with a US-based engineering team.
• Proficiency in both manual exploratory testing and test automation using Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or an equivalent modern framework.
• API testing experience with Postman, REST-assured, or an equivalent tool.
• Experience testing PHP applications hosted on AWS and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Security testing exposure, including vulnerability-fix validation, OWASP-based test cases, and basic penetration testing concepts.
• Performance testing with JMeter or k6.
• SQL proficiency for data validation.
• Experience with remediation or technical debt squads, mortgage or financial services, or international clients.
