Senior QA Engineer (Python)

Location: Remote in Brazil; preferred location is Brazil

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end test strategy across the software development life cycle.
• Design, write, and automate test cases using established open-source testing tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines so they run on every meaningful change.
• Plan and execute integration, system, regression, stress, load, and performance testing.
• Partner with application and platform engineers to define acceptance criteria and shift testing left.
• Triage failures, lead root-cause analysis, and report actionable quality signals such as coverage, flake rate, and escaped defects.

Requirements

• Strong test automation experience and a track record of designing test strategies.
• Deep practical understanding of the SDLC, test cases, and test plans.
• Hands-on experience with integration, system, regression, stress, load, or performance testing.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong communication skills and experience working directly with developers.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, pytest, k6, or Locust.
• Experience testing cloud or Kubernetes workloads.
• Experience producing test evidence for SOC 2 or a similar compliance program.
• Background in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience in early-stage environments with broad testing ownership.
