Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Vienna, VA, United States (Hybrid); Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Salary: $83,700–$107,300 annually.

What you will do

• Create and update moderately complex reports and dashboards using standard procedures.
• Analyze trends and patterns, and produce recurring reports and data visualizations to support business decisions.
• Develop KPI reports, identify operational improvement areas, and perform root cause analysis.
• Communicate findings and insights to peers and mid-level management.
• Create report and analysis specifications based on business needs and available data elements.
• Collaborate with team members on projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Basic understanding of business and operating environments.
• Proficiency with business intelligence applications and/or cloud services.
• Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or database reporting capabilities, as well as data integration, cleaning, and validation.
• Working knowledge of data structures and manipulating data in visualization tools.
• Skills in statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, research, and interpersonal communication.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
