Business Analyst, Tech & Ops (Fintech)

Location: 100% on-site at the hirify.global HQ in San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $70,304–$78,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus targets of 10% cash and 10% restricted stock units

What you will do

• Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and lead projects from concept through implementation.
• Design and implement reporting, analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency.
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, and analysis.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports that visualize complex datasets and support decision-making.
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to executive, operational, and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Associate's degree.
• Experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related role.
• Strong SQL skills, including querying, data manipulation, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Tableau, SSRS, Microsoft Report Builder, or similar data visualization and reporting platforms.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, or automation solutions.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to or interest in AI and workflow automation tools such as Copilot or n8n.
