Short-term Internship (Fall 2026) - Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering

Location: Mobile Area, Alabama, United States; 100% onsite. Candidates must currently be local to the Mobile area for this short-term, semester-based opportunity.

hirify.global operates a U.S. commercial aircraft manufacturing facility in Mobile, producing A320 Family and A220 aircraft.

What you will do

• Support the launch and industrialization of a new production line.
• Develop rework instructions for non-conformities that deviate from the design dossier.
• Coordinate with MAP and Design Office engineers to support aircraft repairs.
• Lead and support projects focused on production productivity and process improvements.
• Maintain and update processes from a technical perspective to improve operational efficiency.
• Work with production teams on assembly, quality, maintenance, technical information, and health and safety activities.

Requirements

• Must be currently local to the Mobile, Alabama area and able to work onsite.
• Working toward a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering, with at least sophomore standing.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality control.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and design dossiers.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
• Must be able to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship or work authorization support.

Nice to have

• School projects in related engineering fields.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
