TPM Manager, Infrastructure

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY; hybrid policy requires staff to work from an office at least 25% of the time

Annual salary: $365,000–$565,000 USD

What you will do

• Own and drive 2–3 high-priority infrastructure programs, including datacenter bring-up, capacity scaling, infrastructure migrations, and reliability initiatives.
• Build program management processes and playbooks through hands-on execution.
• Hire, coach, and develop TPMs while transitioning programs to the growing team.
• Partner with engineering leaders to prioritize TPM support, maintain portfolio visibility, and represent the team in planning and leadership reviews.
• Coordinate cross-functional programs across Infrastructure, Research, Product, Security, Finance, and Legal.
• Lead executive communication on program status, risks, dependencies, blockers, and resource needs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical program management experience, including 7+ years directly managing TPMs.
• Experience building a team or function from scratch and scaling TPM organizations in rapidly growing environments.
• Experience across physical and software infrastructure, including datacenters, networking, hardware operations, distributed systems, cloud platforms, or developer tooling.
• Experience running large-scale compute or infrastructure programs such as capacity planning, cluster deployments, datacenter build-outs, or cloud migrations.
• Ability to communicate complex programs clearly to senior leadership and make staffing and prioritization decisions with incomplete information.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and experience in a relevant field.
