Yard Jockey/High Reach Operator

Starting pay: $21.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate yard trucks and safely manage trailer movement, positioning, securing, sealing, staging, and inventory checks.
• Operate a Crown stand-up high reach forklift and other authorized equipment.
• Perform receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, staging, loading, and unloading activities.
• Use RF scanners to complete inventory transactions and maintain product location accuracy.
• Inspect equipment, report damages and unsafe conditions, and keep work areas organized.
• Support Transportation, Warehouse, and Dock Operations departments as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a Crown stand-up high reach forklift is required.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain company certification is required.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds and perform standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and temperature conditions and safely enter and exit equipment, trailers, and elevated platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, safety awareness, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Satisfactory driving record and ability to pass required background and drug screening.

Nice to have

• Yard jockey, trailer spotting, or yard management experience.
• CDL-A certification.
• RF scanner experience.
