Pricing Analyst (Retail)

Location: Hybrid role based at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts. In-office Tuesday through Thursday; remote Monday and Friday.

Salary: $62,000–$81,500 per year

What you will do

• Manage assigned categories by monitoring prices, margins, competitive positioning, and financial performance.
• Develop data-driven pricing recommendations that balance competitiveness, profitability, and customer value.
• Execute pricing changes accurately and align them with operational targets.
• Analyze category metrics, forecasts, and large datasets to identify trends, pricing opportunities, and corrective actions.
• Partner with Merchandising, Finance, and other cross-functional teams on pricing decisions and business initiatives.
• Lead ad hoc analyses, special projects, and strategic pricing initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Understanding of pricing strategy, margin management, and category financial performance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to interpret complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with SAP.
