Commercial Analyst (AI)

Salary: $67,000–$101,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Build scenario-based models covering pricing, base cost, margin, and compensation for annual planning and in-year strategy.
• Improve reporting processes and business definitions to reduce manual work and increase data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Contribute to commercial AI and analytics initiatives, including evaluating, piloting, and adopting AI-enabled tools.
• Track modeled-versus-actual performance and report projected and realized outcomes throughout the fiscal year.
• Perform year-over-year and run-rate analyses and provide recommendations to sales and commercial leadership.
• Develop reports and queries, measure sales trends and resource utilization, and collaborate with Sales, IS, and Finance on reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Applied Statistics.
• At least 2 years of sales analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with data tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Power Query, Tableau, Power BI, or Python.
• Ability to translate complex data logic into clear narratives for analysts and executive stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets and competing priorities.
• Ability to work in Northfield, Illinois.
