Obsolete Material Planner (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Plan and manage materials for PDC manufacturing lines, including inventory, safety stock, material responsiveness, and supplier exposure.
• Support material planning for premature and NPI products, including BOM structures, supply chains, first-tool deliveries, budgets, and shortage mitigation.
• Prepare material infrastructures for serial production and manage transitions from old to new products.
• Plan and control obsolete-material solutions for Operations and R&D, ensuring that obsoletes do not stop production.
• Lead obsolete-related task forces and coordinate with purchasing, sourcing, quality, engineering, machining, and assembly operations.
• Manage engineering changes, sourcing execution, supplier performance, and material planning systems including SAP and Smartsheet.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from a leading and recognized university.
• At least 3 years of experience in operational and planning roles.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal communication, cooperation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead complex cross-functional interfaces without direct authority.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize parallel tasks, manage timelines independently, and handle both long-term planning and daily execution.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills required.
