What you will do
- Forecast inventory requirements for flight, training, and ground-support hardware and support procurement or production planning.
- Maintain hardware inventory status deliverables, usage forecasts, maintenance intervals, and accountability records.
- Allocate, verify, and track hardware for flight and ground events using the Inventory Management System.
- Support work authorization packages, manufacturing and testing activities, work-order closure, and preventative maintenance planning.
- Coordinate flight hardware manifesting, cargo integration paperwork, pre-delivery readiness reviews, and delivery schedules.
- Develop planning procedures, maintain configuration documentation, and communicate project status, risks, and schedules to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 0–3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for data analysis, word processing, and data visualization.
- Strong analytical, organizational, written, and oral communication skills with close attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problems proactively and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Eligibility for access to export-controlled technical data may require additional U.S. export control screening under NASA regulations, ITAR, or EAR; meeting these requirements is a condition of employment.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends when required to meet critical project milestones.
