Return to Work Eligibility Specialist

Location: Remote - USA; full-time schedule Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm EST

Compensation: $19.50 per hour

Brown & Brown Absence Services Group provides SSDI advocacy, claims management, talent solutions, and disability advisory services as part of Brown & Brown Insurance.

What you will do

• Conduct a high volume of outbound and inbound calls and emails to educate and screen potential Ticket to Work participants.
• Assess eligibility and answer questions about program participation.
• Identify employment goals and complete Individual Work Plans to initiate services and Ticket assignment.
• Support Ticketholders with resume development, interview preparation, job search strategies, and resource referrals.
• Maintain compliance with program rules and requirements in interactions and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members on program operations and may progress toward Certified Benefits Counselor responsibilities.

Requirements

• Experience and confidence conducting high-volume outbound educational calls from warm leads.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus at least 2 years of related work experience.
• Ability to pass a Social Security Administration suitability background screening.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
• Work Incentive Practitioner Credentials (WIP-C).
• Two years of vocational, clinical, or claims management experience in a group disability insurance organization is preferred.
