Sr. Solutions Architect, Enteprise Networking & Security (NYC/NJ)

Location: Remote role associated with Hauppauge, New York; New York, New York; and Glastonbury, Connecticut, USA

What you will do

• Develop end-to-end technical solutions covering hardware, software, licensing, and professional services.
• Gather, analyze, and document customer business and technical requirements for networking and security projects.
• Design full-lifecycle network and security architectures from concept through implementation and ongoing support.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, whiteboard discussions, architecture reviews, demonstrations, and customer presentations.
• Create hardware configurations, bills of materials, statements of work, and professional services pricing.
• Partner with Account Executives and sales teams to develop customer relationships and support the sales process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, equivalent professional experience, or relevant military experience.
• Seven or more years of substantial experience with enterprise networking and security solutions.
• Relevant industry certification such as Cisco CCDP, CCNP, or CCIE; equivalent vendor certifications are also valued.
• Experience deploying, administering, configuring, integrating, or supporting complex technology solutions.
• Customer-facing experience translating business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Expertise in routing and switching, next-generation firewalls, VPNs, network security, data center networking, SASE, SD-WAN, enterprise wireless, or cloud networking.
• Experience with Cisco, Arista, HPE, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, F5, or VMware.
• Experience in a value-added reseller, consulting, systems integration, or professional services environment.
• Relevant professional certifications and experience with AI-driven network operations or automation.
