Project Coordinator Intern (Summer 2027)

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States. On-site work may involve laboratory or workshop environments, occasional travel, loud noise, and hazardous conditions. U.S. citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is mandatory.

Estimated starting salary: $18.13–$31.72 per hour.

What you will do

• Contribute to active technical projects and complete assigned tasks supporting team objectives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support engineering decisions.
• Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements, timelines, and goals.
• Perform hands-on technical assignments and collaborate with experienced industry professionals.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support best-practice implementation.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior, or senior in a university, college, or technical school, with at least six months remaining until graduation after the internship.
• Pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Ability to work collaboratively, maintain a strong work ethic, and demonstrate attention to detail.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Prior internship or technical or engineering work experience.
• Familiarity with the aerospace and defense industry.
• Basic knowledge of CAD or MATLAB.
• Microsoft Access skills.
