Principal Software Cloud Engineer (CRM)

Location: Mounds View, Minnesota, United States; on-site four days per week with less than 10% travel

Salary: $146,400–$219,600 annually, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Develop software and solutions across the stack for the Cardiac Rhythm Management Software Division.
• Build and improve cloud-native, microservice-based systems using the target architecture.
• Design simple, scalable, and reliable solutions with the engineering team.
• Improve product reliability and development velocity.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, participate in blameless post-mortems, and implement follow-up actions.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and collaborate with a globally distributed team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math with at least 7 years of technical experience, or an advanced STEM degree with at least 5 years of technical experience.
• At least 7 years of software delivery experience with C#, Java, or similar languages.
• At least 4 years of experience working in a public or private cloud environment.
• At least 4 years of application development using Kubernetes.
• At least 4 years of experience with CI/CD/CT pipelines, source control, and artifact tooling such as Git, JFrog, Artifactory, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to work on-site in Mounds View, Minnesota four days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka or similar streaming technologies.
• DevSecOps, systems or service engineering, and release management experience.
• Experience refactoring monoliths into microservices.
• Experience with monitoring stacks such as ELK, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, or Prometheus.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as HBase or DynamoDB, or with medical device companies.
