Location: Hybrid, with two days per week in the Sacramento office; California residents only

Salary: $129,188.80–$193,793.60 annual salary

What you will do

• Architect, engineer, and deliver complex enterprise-level data product ecosystems.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into robust full-stack technical solutions.
• Own system architecture, performance strategy, and data warehouse design.
• Design complex data solutions and data marts from scratch.
• Mentor engineers and help improve the department’s engineering maturity.
• Advise leadership on complex, cross-system BI and analytics solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of progressive hands-on experience in BI engineering, data product development, or full-stack analytics.
• Expert SQL skills, including performance tuning and database optimization.
• Expertise in ETL, data modeling, application design, star and snowflake schemas, and data warehouse architecture.
• Expert proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, and the Microsoft BI stack, including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
• Experience with ALM, CI/CD, DevOps for analytics, technical mentoring, and solving ambiguous problems with minimal guidance.
