Senior Research Statistician (Hybrid) (Biostatistics)

Salary: $96,500–$183,500 USD annually

What you will do

• Design, analyze, and report clinical trials and other scientific research studies.
• Support the development of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, safety analysis plans, and medical affairs evidence-generation plans.
• Apply statistical methodologies, perform analyses, identify data issues, and evaluate study assumptions.
• Provide programming specifications for derived variables and analysis datasets, collaborating with Statistical Programming on high-quality outputs.
• Support database lock activities with Data Science and contribute to scientific publications, reports, tables, listings, and figures.
• Develop reusable statistical modules, analysis templates, quality-control assets, and AI-enabled scientific computing workflows using reproducible practices.

Requirements

• MS with 4+ years of experience or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a closely related field.
• Strong technical competence and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform statistical computations and simulations.
• Ability to identify data or analytical issues and help develop appropriate solutions.
• Ability to build strong relationships with peers and cross-functional partners.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in North Chicago, Illinois.
