Senior Public Relations Manager (SaaS)

Location: United States — Remote. Limited travel of approximately 1–3 trips per year for planning meetings, events, or media engagements.

What you will do

• Monitor content calendars, product roadmaps, survey insights, customer trends, and expert discussions to identify proactive media opportunities.
• Plan and execute customized media campaigns using pitches, press releases, bylines, quotes, and reporter preparation materials.
• Lead data-driven storytelling from research topic development through media pitching and amplification across PR, blog, social, and video.
• Connect PR and Social teams by translating studies, press wins, and executive moments into platform-native content, especially for LinkedIn.
• Secure executive thought-leadership opportunities including commentary, interviews, podcasts, bylines, and expert perspectives.
• Build journalist relationships, partner with PR agencies, use AI tools for research and content development, and track coverage, share of voice, sentiment, and survey impact.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in public relations, including B2B technology or SaaS.
• Established relationships with top-tier and technology journalists, with direct outbound pitching experience.
• Strong news judgment and the ability to turn data, trends, and customer stories into compelling narratives.
• Exceptional writing skills across press releases, tailored pitches, bylines, spokesperson quotes, and talking points.
• Fluency in social storytelling, including translating PR and executive content for LinkedIn and other social channels.
• Experience managing cross-functional relationships and managing or partnering with PR agencies; comfortable using AI tools to accelerate research and content development.

• Experience with data storytelling, survey-based campaigns, or research agencies.
• Familiarity with domains, hosting, website builders, digital presence platforms, rebrands, or brand transformations.
