What you will do

• Select article topics from an assigned pool and pitch original ideas to the editorial team.
• Research and write original features about network and streaming TV shows.
• Follow editorial guidelines while producing unique, high-quality content.
• Publish timely articles and meet tight deadlines consistently.
• Contribute regularly to Polygon's entertainment audience.

Requirements

• Journalism or related educational background.
• At least 2 years of experience producing entertainment or related content.
• In-depth familiarity with and strong passion for the entertainment industry, especially current TV shows.
• Broad knowledge of network television shows and working knowledge of network or streaming TV.
• Experience with SEO practices.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and submit assignments on time.

Nice to have

• Experience with a custom CMS.
• Strong knowledge of classic and current television series.
