Summer 2027 Corporate Intern: Global Tax

Location: Onsite at Walmart HQ in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $21.00–$40.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support technically complex and strategically relevant tax projects.
• Gain exposure to US federal and state income tax, global income tax reporting, and indirect taxes including sales and use and property taxes.
• Analyze cross-functional impacts and solve tax-related problems using strategic and analytical skills.
• Use Microsoft Office, tax and accounting software, and data analytics tools.
• Communicate findings clearly across multiple organizational levels.
• Participate in Walmart Finance meetings with executive leaders and department events.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master of Accountancy.
• Graduating in December 2027 or May 2028.
• Strong professionalism, integrity, collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight timelines in an agile environment.
• Must be able to work onsite at Walmart HQ in Bentonville, Arkansas.
• Must not require Walmart sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future.
