Federal Tax Services Intern - Summer 2027

Location: Baltimore, United States; full-time, onsite work with travel to assigned client locations

Salary: $34–$40 per hour

What you will do

• Collaborate with tax teams across areas including corporate taxation, individual taxation, mergers and acquisitions, pass-through entities, federal credits and incentives, and private client services.
• Complete tax planning and research.
• Prepare federal and state and local tax returns.
• Apply tax regulations and accounting pronouncements to client work.

Requirements

• Complete at least 90 credit hours.
• Work toward a B.A., B.S., or equivalent degree at an accredited university.
• Major in accounting.
• Be able to travel to assigned client locations and arrange reliable transportation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, computer, teamwork, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
