R&D Technology Technician II/Analyst (Materials Science)

What you will do

• Conduct accelerated aging, weathering, analytical, physical property, optical, microscopy, and product performance tests under supervision.
• Prepare samples, collect and record data accurately, and complete test reports for R&D projects.
• Collaborate with technical teams to perform testing and provide results for further analysis.
• Use ELN and LIMS systems, curate reports, populate databases, and support SOP development.
• Maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory equipment while keeping maintenance records current.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Forensic Sciences, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• At least 1–2 years of laboratory experience.
• Experience with weathering and accelerated aging equipment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of basic math, science, and engineering principles with hands-on experimentation and troubleshooting skills.
• Accurate written and oral communication, attention to detail, computer literacy, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Successful completion of a post-offer background check and drug screening is required.
