Security Operations Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in Canada or the United States

Salary: $115,000–$130,000 USD annual base depending on experience, plus a bonus plan, stock options, and benefits. A Canadian base range of $110,000–$125,000 CDN is also stated.

What you will do

• Own technical execution and operational continuity within the Security Operations function.
• Manage security projects, vendors, documentation, and operational turnover.
• Design and mature SIEM, log analysis, visibility, and telemetry architecture.
• Integrate automation and AI into security operations and threat intelligence dissemination.
• Provision, harden, and manage the lifecycle of internal infrastructure and platforms.
• Support DevOps escalation triage and reduce the operational load through systems engineering.

Requirements

• Must be located in Canada or the United States.
• High-level individual contributor with a systems-first security mindset.
• Expertise in SIEM and security telemetry.
• Experience with infrastructure hardening and secure provisioning.
• Familiarity with automation and AI in security operations.
• Strong project management, documentation, communication, and vendor management skills.
