Senior Manager, Information Security & IT (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role requiring three days per week onsite in Toronto, Canada

Base salary: CAD 150,000–165,000 annually, plus bonus

What you will do

• Lead and evolve the information security program across governance, risk management, policies, controls, and security practices.
• Drive compliance and assurance activities covering SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, audits, penetration testing, customer security reviews, and cyber insurance requirements.
• Oversee identity and access management, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
• Own cybersecurity incident preparedness and response, including escalation, remediation, follow-up, and lessons learned.
• Lead and develop the corporate IT team overseeing employee technology, SaaS administration, onboarding and offboarding, and core IT operations.
• Manage security and IT vendors, improve automation and cost efficiency, and report risks and priorities to executive leadership and the Audit Committee.

Requirements

• Progressive experience across both information security and corporate IT, including leadership of security programs, risk and compliance initiatives, incident response, IT teams, and modern corporate technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management, endpoint security, SaaS environments, vulnerability management, security monitoring, and security controls.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA requirements and their practical application.
• Strong technical judgment, risk assessment, prioritization, and hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Leadership ability to develop people, create accountability, and bring structure to evolving security and IT priorities.
• Ability to work onsite in Toronto three days per week.
