Recruiting M&A Program Specialist

Location: San Francisco, California, United States. The role requires working from the Anthropic San Francisco office, with relocation available. Staff are expected to work from an office at least 25% of the time.

Annual salary: $120,640–$145,600 USD.

What you will do

• Coordinate recruiting activities across Corporate Development, Legal, People, and technical leadership.
• Manage the recruiting workstream for acquisition deals from initial conversations through start dates.
• Educate cross-functional partners on M&A recruiting, interviewing, and process standards.
• Operationalize and improve recruiting playbooks, processes, systems, and analytics.
• Provide candidates and incoming employees with a discreet, high-touch experience during sensitive transitions.
• Use AI tools such as Claude in daily recruiting and operations work while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

• 4+ years of program management, recruiting coordination, or high-volume scheduling experience.
• Experience creating, documenting, and educating others on evolving hiring approaches.
• Experience delivering strong candidate experiences and partnering with recruiters.
• Experience handling confidential or sensitive work requiring discretion, trust, and sound judgment.
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills in ambiguous, fast-moving situations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and experience.
