TL;DR
Analyst II - Security (Program) (Cybersecurity): Supporting government security operations across information, personnel, program, physical, operations, and communications security with an accent on RMF, continuous monitoring, access management, and compliance documentation. Focus on protecting sensitive information, administering clearances and access, supporting audits and insider-threat activities, and coordinating with government security representatives.

Location: Boulder, Colorado, United States. Travel: 0–25%. Work is performed indoors during usual business hours.

Annual base salary: $70,304–$143,000, plus restricted stock units and quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do

  • Support daily information, personnel, program, physical, operations, and communications security activities.
  • Support Risk Management Framework and Continuous Monitoring activities, including control monitoring, compliance documentation, and action tracking.
  • Assist with clearance administration, onboarding and offboarding, security briefings, and security education.
  • Manage computer and network access requests, approvals, provisioning, and removal.
  • Support Insider Threat Program activities, audits, inspections, compliance reviews, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain security records and COMSEC materials, and coordinate routine matters with internal stakeholders and government security representatives.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph; successful completion of the background investigation and polygraph is required for employment.
  • Typically 1–3 years of professional, military, academic, administrative, operational, IT, security, or related experience; equivalent leadership or organizational experience may be considered.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, critical-thinking, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply complex policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while handling sensitive information discreetly.
  • U.S. export-control eligibility is required: proof of U.S. citizenship, permanent U.S. residency, or protected-individual status must be provided.

Nice to have

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Experience with government, defense, aerospace, intelligence, or security programs.
  • Familiarity with NISPOM/32 CFR Part 117, SCI security, COMSEC, personnel security, Insider Threat, information security, CONMON, or security controls.
  • Experience with security documentation, audits, inspections, compliance tracking, or access management.
  • Military experience in security, intelligence, IT, operations, or leadership.
