Information Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: On-site in the River North Chicago office 5 days a week

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Implement and maintain information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Validate security tools and operational automation processes.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, prepare reports, and maintain security operations documentation.
• Conduct access reviews, internal control assessments, and vulnerability tracking.
• Plan security risk mitigation using frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 1, and SOC 2.
• Provide technical security advice and respond to internal audit, external audit, and customer security assessment requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in IT or information security.
• Experience with one or two programming languages.
• Ability to research cybersecurity best practices and provide recommendations.
• Strong technical writing, presentation, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to learn through on-the-job training and ask effective questions.
