Campus Recruiting Manager

Location: New York City, New York; expected to work in the office 3–4 days per week and 5 days per week during the summer associate program

Salary: $125,000–$155,000 annualized

What you will do

• Lead the planning and execution of the summer associate program, including social, training, networking, and professional development events.
• Support summer associates through orientation, mentoring, performance management, feedback, and end-of-summer offer discussions.
• Develop and execute New York campus recruiting strategies, law school outreach, interview processes, candidate conversion initiatives, and hiring plans.
• Manage application reviews, screening and callback interviews, offer administration, candidate progression, and hiring outcomes.
• Build relationships with law school career services teams, student organizations, lawyers, candidates, and external partners.
• Analyze recruiting data, market trends, competitive practices, and budgets to recommend improvements and support firm-wide talent initiatives.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree required; JD preferred.
• 4+ years of recruiting experience in a law firm or professional services firm.
• Knowledge of law firm business models, legal industry trends, and recruiting practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, analytical, and quantitative skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information, multiple projects, deadlines, budgets, and high-pressure situations.
• Ability to mentor recruiting professionals, delegate effectively, and manage workloads.
