Executive Recruiting Sourcer/Researcher (Financial Services)

Location: Hybrid role with 3 days in the Hudson Yards, New York City, or Stamford, Connecticut office and 2 days working from home; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Salary: $82,770–$135,975 base pay annually, with potential eligibility for incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Partner with executive recruiters and business leaders on high-quality leadership search engagements.
• Drive sourcing from market mapping and target-company research through candidate development.
• Build talent maps using industry trends, competitor landscapes, and leadership competencies.
• Conduct proactive outreach, screen senior candidates, and develop long-term executive talent pipelines.
• Present market feedback, candidate profiles, search updates, and progress reports to stakeholders.
• Maintain recruiting-system data and generate insights for future hiring and talent strategies.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in executive search, recruiting, or talent sourcing.
• Strong executive sourcing and research expertise with a structured, strategic approach.
• Ability to engage senior-level candidates and communicate credibly with stakeholders.
• Excellent written communication, narrative, presentation, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent searches in a fast-paced, consultative environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

• Experience at a retained search firm or in financial services.
