Senior Analyst, FP&A (Biotech)

What you will do

• Own budgeting and forecasting for Research and G&A in partnership with functional leaders.
• Deliver quarterly reporting, budget-versus-actual analysis, variance commentary, and monthly forecast reviews.
• Manage quarterly Research accrual close activities with business partners and external vendors.
• Own revenue recognition for Research collaboration agreements under ASC 606 in partnership with Accounting.
• Support annual financial planning, long-range planning, ad hoc analysis, and business decision-making.
• Build financial models and scenario analyses while improving processes through automation and AI tooling.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A or a Finance function.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a demanding environment.

Nice to have

• Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Experience with Planful or a comparable FP&A planning platform.
• Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP.
• CPA or MBA.
• Interest in process improvement through automation and AI.
