Senior Specialist - Equities Product Management

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid work environment with at least 3 days per week in the office

Base pay: $96,000–$132,000 per year, plus annual bonus/commission and equity

What you will do

• Engage with diverse customer personas to understand evolving business needs and drive impactful product solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Engineering to define product value propositions and align them with target audiences.
• Own the full product lifecycle from ideation through launch using Agile methodologies and delivery tools.
• Identify business opportunities and lead the development of products, services, and market plans.
• Use data and analytics platforms to analyze datasets, build proof-of-concepts, and validate product opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in financial services, market data, product management, or a related field.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across global, matrixed organizations.
• Hands-on experience with data and analytics platforms such as Databricks, SQL, Python, or APIs, including the ability to build prototypes and support solution development.
• Clear communication, strong organizational skills, and comfort engaging clients and senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Project Management certification such as PMP or an Agile certification.
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, APIs, or emerging financial market technologies.
